AI-Assisted Innovation for SME- TechWM & HealthTech clusters

25-26 February 2026, Conference Aston, Birmingham

This cross-sector workshop is designed to help SMEs in the West Midlands identify and implement practical AI solutions within their business operations. Led by Aston Institute of Photonic Technologies in collaboration with The Technology Supply Chain, TechWM, and the West Midlands HealthTech Cluster, the session focuses on real-world AI adoption rather than theory.

Participants will explore sector-specific use cases, develop structured AI adoption roadmaps, and identify both quick wins and longer-term opportunities for innovation. The workshop also provides guidance on accessing funding opportunities, including Innovate UK, KTPs, and Horizon Europe, while connecting SMEs directly with leading academic expertise.

This session is particularly relevant for organisations in Advanced Manufacturing, Digital & Tech, and HealthTech seeking to enhance productivity, efficiency, and innovation through AI.
